First Race: Aquarians.

So with the design in place from last post I have over time developed a template (Good thing nobody wanted to play a short lived, slimy female who cant breathe over water. Gave me time to make a proper template.)

Here is the entry from the file I've made on race templates thus far:

Aquarian

Aquarians are a subspecies of humans with the ability to survive underwater. They are dextrous and
durable but suffer from poor quality when Regnum Mars scientist created the race.
Most members of the race are female and only live to the 50 year mark.
Their society is largely matriarchal but with a polygamous system usually consisting of one male
and his 4-5 wives.
At the 50 year mark a lot of Aquarians commit suicide with some choosing to live in life support
suits.

Second human empire characters typically have Code of Honor: Avoid dishonesty and cruelty [-1]
and Distinctive feature (Facial identitification tattoo) [-1].
A lot of Aquarians also get irritations from concentrated salt which may be reflected by
Vulnerability (Concentrated salt)[-1], make sure that your character once in a while says ”It's her
pile of salt.” (It's her problem) or similar.
Aquarians communicate via sign language and their own written system. Varieties exist giving rise
to dialects but Aquarians can understand each other easily.
Many Aquarians would have bisexuality [-1] to reflect that alot of Aquarian women have sexual and
romantic relations.

Short lifespan 1 [-10]
Altered sex ratio, 5 women per 1 man [0]**

*Essentially Reduced consumption (Cast iron stomach, but can't eat rotten food and food only, they
eat raw fish for a living)

Among Aquarians ”the Octopus grasp” is the most common martial art and incorporates grappling
as punches are near useless underwater.
The octopus grasp:
Judo(H), Knife(E), Brawling(E).
Arm lock (A), Neck snap(H), Armed grapple (H), Binding(A), Close combat (H).

The setting and lore elements I'll discuss later, but here is the race template.

As a bonus, here is my crude sketches on one of the Salamander girl's factions. These are supposed to play somewhat against the space babe trope but more on that in another post.

I'll definitely be back with some of the deliberations on these underwater space babes later, but there are more racial templates to throw out there.
